Our Pastor

Hello, My name is Danny Schmidt. My family and I moved to Martinez at the end of 2017 for me to become the pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church. We are very excited about the opportunity to serve Jesus Christ in and around Martinez. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and two great kids. Some of the things I enjoy are coffee, books, sports (Boston Red Sox, Liverpool FC, NY Giants, Boston Bruins), and people.

Please come by some Sunday and say hello. At Cornerstone Baptist, we believe the Bible, we follow Jesus, and we love one another. Come discover God’s truth and grow with us in His grace.
